Eurostar London to Paris timing

How long before departure do you need to be at London St Pancras station fof the 7am Eurostar to Paris?The official advice is 60-90 minutes, but definitely aim for 90 minutes plus.

We arrived at 5:30 am, right on 90 minutes, and the queue in the station was already a crowd. There was a 6:16am Eurostar to Amsterdam so it included passengers for two services.

Coming in via the one operating lift meant we had a shorter queue, and our fast run through security and immigration took exactly 30 minutes. But it could easily have taken an hour..

Passengers on the 6:16 train were looking a little panicked and being fast-tracked by staff, but no doubt some missed their train.

So, allow extra time to make sure you are not one of them!
